Importance of correct operation of pipe chain conveyor
1. The pipe chain conveyor is broken during operation. Because the pipe chain conveyor adopts the internationally advanced ring pipe chain conveying structure, it relies on the chain wheel to drive the chain to rotate during operation, and then the disc attached to the chain drives the materials to form a stable material flow. Therefore, the chain is an indispensable power source in the whole conveying process. Once it breaks the chain, the whole equipment will not run. The main factors leading to chain breakage are: the chain is too tight, foreign matters enter the equipment and cause extrusion, etc. Because when the equipment is running, it must be adjusted manually. Once the manual regulation error makes the chain too tight, it will lead to exercise during the operation of the equipment. In particular, the entry of foreign matters will also squeeze the chain and finally break. We have been in contact with a case before. The chain broke because the factory workers dropped the wrench into the ring pipe and did not find it in time.
2. Material leakage occurs during the operation of pipe chain conveyor. This is mainly due to improper manual operation, and the chain is not effectively tensioned during equipment operation. The chain sags or deviates in some places due to its own gravity. This is that the gap between the disc and the ring pipe wall is large, which exceeds the limit of normal use of the equipment. When the disc pushes and transports the material, the material will directly pass through the gap, and the normal transportation operation can no longer be carried out.
3. The disc is excessively worn. In general, when we recommend disc materials for customers, we will require the friction coefficient of the materials used by customers, and select the discs of appropriate materials according to the friction coefficient of materials. Our discs have a variety of materials, which can meet the use of different materials in almost all industries. However, sometimes customers deliberately lie about the friction coefficient of materials in order to reduce the purchase investment of equipment, which directly leads to large wear of discs in the conveying process, and then affects the overall performance of the equipment.
4. The pipe chain conveyor body is corroded. It is roughly the same as the excessive wear of discs, which mainly occurs in some chemical, metallurgical and other industries. Because these industries use more corrosive materials, it is necessary to carry out certain anti-corrosion treatment on the equipment. The pipe chain conveyor is generally made of stainless steel, so that the pipe chain conveyor can stably transport all kinds of acid and alkaline materials. However, due to the high cost of stainless steel itself, many enterprises do not want to invest too much. Therefore, when selecting materials, they ignore dissuasion or falsely report the actual situation of conveying materials, which eventually leads to equipment damage.
